Perth Eagles Wheelchair Sports Club was formed in September 2019 to offer local opportunities for people with a disability to take part in active sport and physical activity.
Their coaches run a boccia session on a Thursday evening, 5.30pm-6.30pm at Letham Community Hub for people of all ages with a physical, sensory of learning disability. Whether you are new to the sport and looking to simply participate and learn a new sport or an experienced player looking to improve your skills, the coaches can adapt the session to suit your needs.
On Friday evenings, 6pm-7pm at Academy of Sport & Wellbeing, Perth College UHI, it's all about wheelchair sports, getting active and having FUN!!
Sports include wheelchair basketball, badminton, tennis, rugby and sessions can be led by the participants to choose what they would like to do.
This is for anyone who can push a manual wheelchair and family and siblings are encouraged to come along and take part in this fully inclusive club.
