Perth & Kinross Disability Sport, in partnership with Dundee City Disability Sport, Angus Disability Sport and Scottish Disability Sport are delighted to invite entries from across Tayside to the 30th Tayside Swimming Championships for people with a physical, sensory or learning disability.
We’re committed to our No Cost Participation approach which sees our weekly sessions, development and competitive events, education courses and programs delivered at no cost to the participant.
There is no cost to participate in this event.
The warm-up is scheduled for 10.30am and the Gala will commence at 11am, with a finish time of approx. 2pm anticipated.
This gala is a time trial for the Scottish Disability Sport National Senior Championships and participants will be selected to represent Tayside at the respective National Championships.
- SDS Senior Swimming Championships for Physically and Sensory Impaired Swimmers 24 April 2022, Grangemouth Complex.
- SDS Senior Swimming Championships for Swimmers with a Learning Disability 21 May 2022, Tollcross International Swimming Centre, Glasgow.
Swimmers of any age can take part in the time-trials, but please note as per the rules, only swimmers aged 14 years and over (physical or visual disability) and swimmers aged 16 years and over (learning disability) will be eligible to qualify for the relevant SDS Scottish Senior Championships.
