Event Information
The Scottish Down syndrome Swimming Festival, supported by Down syndrome Swimming Great Britain (DSS-GB) is on Saturday 28th June 2025 at the Citadel Leisure Centre, Ayr.
The event is open to any swimmer in Scotland who has Down syndrome and can swim at least 25metres unaided.
Swimmers are asked to arrive for:
-1-1.30pm Registration
-1.45pm Warm-up
-2pm Start
- Finish 4.30pm (approx.)
ALL SWIMMERS MUST HAVE A PARENT/CARER OR BE WITH THEIR SWIMMING COACH ON POOLSIDE WITH THEM AT THE EVENT
Event Details
• The closing date for entries will be Friday 13th June and no late entries will be accepted.
• Swimmers participating in the festival must be competent to swim 25m or more of their chosen stroke.
• The Citadel Pool in Ayr is a 25 metre, 6 lane pool.
• The event will be a fun festival with various races for swimmers to try out and recorded times will be sent back to family/clubs after the event.
• All entrants will receive a Medal Memento.
