Event Information
The Parasport Festival is aimed at children with a physical disability,
vision impairment or hearing loss who attend mainstream school. Entry
is open to pupils, P1-S6 across Angus, Dundee and Perth & Kinross.
This year is especially exciting as the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth
Games will take place from Thursday, 23 July to Sunday, 2 August 2026
showcasing a fully integrated Parasport programme across six of the ten
sports, with a Commonwealth Games record 47 medal events in
Paralympic disciplines.
Our event is designed to allow young people to experience a wide range
of parasports delivered by some of the best clubs and coaches available
in the region. We have selected activities where we have strong club
links so children can continue to participate and develop locally.
