Perth & Kinross Disability Sport, in partnership with Perth Eagles Wheelchair Sports Club, Basketball Scotland and Scottish Disability Sport are delighted to invite entries from across Scotland to this year’s Fair City Games 2026 Perth & Kinross Disability Sport Wheelchair Basketball Championships.
The Perth & Kinross Disability Sport Fair City Games include a series of Sports events for people with disabilities to get involved in throughout the year - these include Athletics, Archery, Badminton, Boccia, Lawn Bowls, Curling, Table Tennis, SOMA, Wheelchair Basketball and Swimming.
We’re committed to our No Cost Participation approach which sees our weekly sessions, development and competitive events, education courses and programs delivered at no cost to the participant.
There is No Cost to Participate in this event.
Schedule:
· Registration will open at 9.45am and the championships will begin at 10.30am sharp. The format and schedule will depend on the number of entries and will be completed one week before the event. We aim to do a round robin format to ensure everyone gets multiple games before a knockout stage or final.
Eligibility:
· This event is aim at young people with physical disabilities who are looking to develop in the sport of wheelchair basketball – please note, you do not need to be a wheelchair user to enter.
Equipment
· Please wear clothing suitable for indoor physical activity. If you need to borrow a sports wheelchair, please indicate this on the entry form
